Blueberry Kale Stem Smoothie

Yields: 2 small smoothies
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup plain unsweetened almond milk
  • 4 kale stems (leaves removed and used for another purpose), roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (I use Fage 0%)
  • 2 dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 Tbsp sunflower seed butter
  • sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender, liquid first. Blend until smooth. Add more almond milk for a thinner smoothie. Enjoy!
