Blackberry Basil Smoothies

Yields: 2 small smoothies
- 3 dates, pitted and chopped (and soaked in water for 10-20 minutes if not using a high-speed blender)
- 1/2 cup packed fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup frozen blackberries
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup plain unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 2 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
- sprinkle of cinnamon
- dash of vanilla extract (optional)
- Blend all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
