Blackberry Basil Smoothies

Ingredients
  • 3 dates, pitted and chopped (and soaked in water for 10-20 minutes if not using a high-speed blender)
  • 1/2 cup packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup plain unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 2 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
  • sprinkle of cinnamon
  • dash of vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
